There was a time long ago, when folks used to have what was called a "Home page" or "personal web site" where they'd write about the various boring topics that were of great interest to only themselves. Nowadays you kids have your Twitters and Face books. You miss out on the fun in being forced to maintain an entire web presence, code and all. Most of all you miss out on the joy of forgetting to update your personal web site's CMS software for 3 years. Then, when you do finally update it, you find out that your content database is so out of whack with the current code tree that there's no way to import any of it, and you're forced to start all over again.
That's where I'm at. It's not like I ever posted anything of interest, but what I did post now only exists in a tab-delimited 20 megabyte text file.
